We Use Fossil Fuel For
We use fossil fuel for so many things. In fact, fossil fuel has been used ever since cavemen found out that they could warm themselves by burning peat; Egyptians were known to use a derivative of petroleum for the mummification process. And today, we use fossil fuel for nearly everything. |

Fossil fuel touches our day-to-day lives like nothing else and we go about using it without paying any attention. Our engines would not work without fossil fuel, we would not have plastics, medicines or paints without fossil fuel and we definitely would not be able to grow our food without fossil fuel as it is used in making of fertilizers.
Fossil fuel is even used to make something as inconsequential as the frames of our eyeglass and bed sheets we use on our beds. Photographs would not be possible without fossil fuel because photographic films are made from petroleum, one of the main fossil fuels in the world. Internet governs nearly everyone's life these days and computer disks are many from fossil fuel just like typewriter ribbons.
It is amazing the number of things which are made from fossil fuel. Most of us think that we use fossil fuel just for energy but many industries that give employment to hundreds of people across the United States and the rest of world are dependent on fossil fuels, and this directly or indirectly affects us and makes our lives much easier and more comfortable. From transportation to construction of buildings to making steel to making clothes to manufacturing of clothes dryer, fossil fuel is required.
