How Big Was The Dinosaur Giganotosaurus ?

Giganotosaurus, which has been derived from the Greek word, explains it as 'gigas' meaning giant, 'notos' refers to the south and 'saurus' meaning lizard. In totality, it simply means giant southern lizard. The term south is added to this name because the remains of Giganotosaurus has been found in South America.

 Some 93 to 89 million years ago, in the Turonian stage of the late Cretaceous period, marked the existence of this carcharodontosaurid dinosaur called as Giganotosaurus.
